My Best one titled 'Happiness'

‘Happiness is like the sunlight,
Illuminating the darkness in one’s life,
It dawns on a person with full strength,
And leaves him gay & bright throughout the day’s length;

It brings those moments of joy which one cherishes,
And leaves his life without any blemishes,
The eyes hold a glint of joy in them
Which only vanishes?
When the darkness of sorrow
Brings Happiness to an end!

So NEVER let the sunlight of
Happiness goes—
Because then there will be woe & only woe!!!!!'

'There is something worth,
Conveying through
Something they call music.

To me there is nothing like it
When my mind is weary
It gives me a sense of peace,
When lonely it gives me company
And in this world, full of hatred,
Somehow it fills my heart with love…

But there are times when it makes me cry,
And I don’t know to sing or say why?
Is it only a pipe dream care---?
that someday you & I will make it

Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up the snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near.
Between the woods & frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind & downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark & deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep……!

‘Life remains as an unanswered riddle,
A perpetual paradox which baffles me,
Whenever I attempt to answer this riddle,
The answer-----simply------eludes me!!

Experiences come & rapidly go forth.
Like meteors across life’s horizon,
Before I full grasp their true worth,
They are gone---never to come back again.
Sometimes, moments discarded are wasted,
Turn out to be the richest, the ‘BEST’
But when I am about to proclaim ‘the BEST’
Something tells me—it’s yet to come.

The absence of problems brings peace, joy,
The absence of calm gives strength, courage,
But without them, there’s no life, no beauty,
This on-going process—is it not the answer????????????????????????????’

Emily Dickinson

Success is counted sweetest
By those who ne’er succeed
To comprehend a nectar
Requires sorest need.

Not one of all the purple hosts
Who took the flag today
Can tell the definition,
So clear, of victory.

As he, defeated, dying,
On whose forbidden ear
The distant strains of triumph
Break ; agonized & clear.

LIFE TODAY --- Anonymous

Gone are the days of past,
With glitters & shadows cast.
Today ravels its hope before fate

Saying, “It is not too late”.
Each moment invites us to play
The role suited with care.
See the future at the present day.
Be a genius in life today & dare.

Thinking high to be ahead of time
To live plain, smooth & prime.
To love the life, the short span,
Enjoy today the precious moments if you can---

Worrying not of tomorrow
Of missing the joys of today
Forgetting to live in the past sorrow.

Law of the Garbage Truck

‘One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks.. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so.... Love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who don't. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Have a garbage-free day!’

Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching ?
