"When you face a situation that you can do nothing about, it is an opportunity for two things – one, to test your faith in God and two, to teach you acceptance. When you accept what is, you clear your mind to think about what can be…" – Vandana Jadhav
Vandana’s story is one of great determination, undying courage, and unending positivity and optimism. Born in a lower income family, she was married off at the tender age of 16 without proper education and the slightest idea of the turn her life was going to take. Absorbing life’s shocks and enduring the pain and suffering with a smile, she has emerged victorious with her mantra of ‘Never give up.’
She has earned a good name for herself among cosmopolitan families in Thane (a suburb of Mumbai) with her cooking and the various snacks she dishes out with ease and expertise. Be it Indian delicacies such as Theplas, Puranpolis, Modaks or Chinese food, her snacks are very much in demand, and she is busy round the clock fulfilling these orders and ensuring gastronomic delight within the committed time. Dashing off from place to place on her little Scooty (a two-wheeler), she also provides people food for thought with her positivity and infectious smile.
